Lovely in Lime

Of course, they’re not exactly in lime, but “Lovely in Green” just doesn’t have the same appeal. :)

Chris and Anita brought their brood into the studio yesterday for some family photos…I can’t believe it’s been 11 years since I shot their wedding photos!  Aunt Mel came along for some pictures with her lovely nephews and niece…

Just in Time…

Do you remember these adorable boys from their session this spring?  Well, their mom called me a few weeks ago and asked if we could squeeze in a last-minute session in time for Christmas photos, and I certainly wasn’t going to turn down cuties like this!

Another Lovely Family

It took us a while to get everyone’s schedules to mesh, but we finally found a day that worked for everyone, and we were able to get some wonderful images of Judy and her lovely family!

It was a cold and windy day…

…but who cares, we got some fantastic portraits anyway!

Another beautiful family in a beautiful setting…

I love my loyal repeat clients!  I only regret that I’m not allowed to share the gorgeous family image(s) until the Christmas cards have been sent out.  :)

It must be fall again!

Every year as the leaves turn color and start to fall, things get a little crazy around here.  In the past two weeks alone, I’ve shot nine sessions…here’s a look at some of those beautiful faces that have been shining for  my camera:

Happy Birthday!

Darius is One!!

This little man has been to see me three times now, and his newborn session remains my favorite ever.  Now he’s turning one, and we had a session to commemorate this milestone.  Well, two sessions actually, since the cake didn’t make it to the first session.  :)

Surprise Session | Ancaster Family Photographer

We just got back from a week’s vacation in Osoyoos, camping with my family in celebration of my parents’ 40th wedding anniversary.  Well, our old neighbours (from my growing-up 2-18 years) also happened to be camping at the very same campground that week…coincidence, no?  Since their family is spread across the whole western hemisphere, they try to get together every second year for a visit and an updated family photo.  Since I was there with my equipment (for our own family picture), they solicited my help with getting new photos for them.  I was, of course, happy to oblige. :)

The whole gang, 31 in all:

“Okay everyone, lick your lips.”

“Okay, now lick the lips of the person next to you.”

Always good for some fun reactions, although this is the first time I’ve ever had anyone take me up on it! :)
